Yahoo Answers is just a questions and answers site. It's nothing like myLot and it's not a paying site. If you want to participate at Yahoo Answers, you just have to sign-up with your Yahoo account. Then, you can ask questions that you need advice to or give advice to other people that are asking for it.

yahoo answers works similar to mylot but no you dont get paid which is a down side from mylot.

well as far as i know yahoo answers does not provide you money for you participation and discussions.... i had been there for a few times but then realized for doing the saem thing i get paid here in mylot...

As far as I know, yahoo answer does not pay. It only gives you insights on your questions once you joined and posted questions. It is also a good sight. For you will learn from other people's opinions. But unlike mylot, you will not earn.

No I can tell you as a fact that they do not pay people for answering their questions and posting new questions...all they do is give you points and I have not ever found anything that they are good for...I mean really people think that mylot doesnt pay that much but that doesnt pay anything and when you are on yahoo answers people tend to be a little smart with you and try and be funny and they arent funny because you have a serious question and you want a serious answer....just my opinion on things...;
