Had some difficulties coming up a good discussion subject, will describe as good as i can. Was in church helping my youth pastor to build a permanent stage, so the premise that the church teens/young adults use could get more of a rockclubb feeling. Had helped him pallets to use as a base for the stage, then helped nail them toghether in piles of 2. After that was done he had some stuff to do and offered me a ride home, i asked if there wasn't anymore that i could help him with. He replied that he was thankfull for all the help ive given but there was little i could do, because much thereafter could only be done by one person. I accepted the ride home, but i didnt like leaving him with so much work. Later on i heard that he was not finished until around 5:00 Am, after hearing that i felt very ashamed that i left him with so much work. I told his Mother, a good friend of mine about this and she said i should not feel ashamed about it, but that it was nice i wanted to help him more. The discussion is, should i have incisted to stay and help him, i know that we could have splitted upp much work, saving him lots of time. What would you have done, insist on continuing to help him or accept to get a ride home. hopefully all this reading didnt bore you to death.
