I really haven't been so annoyed about scams until now. I guess you only do something when something happens to you. Today i got scammed 30$ e-gold. I feel so stupid, this guy added me on my messenger account, i have posted it around some forums. Also posted about exchanging. He asked if i was exchanging currencies. His messenger: talabat-x-talabat@hotmail.com I said possible, so he went on and asked if i would exchange 30$ my e-gold for his 33$ paypal. I agreed, i have never had problems until now. I sent him the 30$ to his e-gold account 5082666 (vampire) then waited for him to sent the 33$ to my paypal account. Then he sent me a Transaction ID, which was fake. I never got 1 cent from him. All i have is his messenger and e-gold. I'm never going to exchange again, also for all those who need to exchange i highly recommend you DON'T, if you need to exchange please ask friends. There is nothing i can do to get my money back, but i would like to help others to not be scammed, by telling my story. I did find out he has posted on one arbic forum about exchanging. If you search that messenger email on google you will find it. Does anyone happen to know arbic? Hopefully we can fight these scams.

You really got fooled by this guy! You should have not done any exchanging from strangers. If you do then you must first look at his profiles so you could be sure that he has good credibility. You should not posts your ym add to forums.

First- I learned. Second- The reason i post my messenger in forums is to develop relationships with others, there is no harm in doing so. Unless your going to get in a position to get scammed. You just need to be secure and safe , just because your talking to them doesn't mean you can trust them.

Thank goodness it was $30, not $300! A tough lesson and you've learned it now. Best wishes for a scam-free future on the Internet.
