Does anybody agree that tattoos are addictive? I have gotten 7 tattoos in a year and a half. I love them. After my first one I can't stop wanting more.

Yes, tattoo's are very addictive. I have 8 so far and i'm wanting another one so bad it's about to kill me. I absolutely love getting them and they don't hurt me like most people. I actually took a nap while the guy did the one on my neck. LOL! Insane i know, but they just don't bother me. I'm trying to control myself though so that i don't look all tattooed up, but there aren't to many that you can't see except in the winter when i wear long sleeves and pants. LOL! Thanks for the discussion...got me thinking about tattoo's again. God bless

I only have one below my forearm. But it really is hard to control myself. Money is the main factor I don't have more. They can be really expensive. I don't plan on having any more done on my forearm. That way I don't have to worry about being professional looking at work. Any thought on why they may be addictive?

Not real sure about why they are so addictive...to many it's the whole pain factor, but i don't have the pain when i get them. Others believe that it's the ink that gets in your skin and you just crave getting another one. Who really knows, but i would definitely go with the pain factor before i would the actual ink.

Hey its good to get tatoos and for me it is addictive.I have 4 tatoos and my friends love those.I think tatoos bring about the person in you, they help you express what you are.It is a way of saying out to world that you are differnet. Also if you have a partner, what better way than enduring the pain and getting his / her name engraved in you. Tattoos are not only cool but also addictive.

I would have to say yes they are addictive! I've NEVER seen anyone only have one tattoo. I don't understand why people want them, myself but to each his own. I know my brother got one in high school and shortly after that he would get one every 4-6 months??
