A christian discipler is someone who takes a new christian under his/her wing for apprenticeship and training. Such a new christian is called a disciple while the one doing the training is called the discipler. In a good discipleship training the life and manner of the discpler invariably affects the disciple. He learns and tries to become like the master, the discipler. Ultimately, the Lord Jesus is the chief discipler of whom all the disciples both old and new, must learn to emulate and follow forever. This the high point of discipleship.
