I think its called server Im not very web savvy in that regard. I want something thats not very expensive where I can have affiliates and place ads and all that jazz. It will probably be for comments graphics people can use on places like Myspace as well as tips for living frugal or something. Thanks.

I'm very happy with Yahoo. I find them more reliable than some of the smaller companies. They have several different prices per month. I have had very few problems and they respond within a reasonably prompt time to resolve them.

Thanks John. Do they let you put affiliates and stuff on there to get paid extra? Are they easy to make a layout? If you could answer I would appreciate. Nice to see you here. Its a pretty nice place most of the time.

Yes, if you are paying for a website you can put your own affiliate links on it. They have some free web design programs that are easy to use. You can experiment with a free site through Yahoo Geocities. I think that you aren't supposed to put affiliate links on one of the free sites at Geocities, but you can experiment with making pages to see how it works. Then if you decide you like it you can always choose to have a paid site and to put affiliate links on it. I'm not familiar with some of the host companies that other posters here are mentioning. So they may also be very good for all I know. Some of the host companies don't give you any free software to use for designing pages, and so you have to buy your own software or do your own html from scratch.

The best webhosting service is offered by godaddy.com. It is one of the best and the cheapest. The second best is network solutions. It has about 6,659,150 domains(web sites) undermanagement. You can host multiple websites on the samehosting account with godaddy.

well if you are really into starting a website and know about the various hosting, html and others which are required you may as well create your own domain... but if you are just stating and wnat to check it out then you may start by using blogs...like blogger.com or wordpress.com...they are very simpe and no hasssels about the web language and hositng,etc...
