Has anyone tried Oolong tea? And does it really work as an appetite suppresant? I'm also curious how it tastes, I tend to like spicy chai teas.

I drank it in Japan, I do not find it very pleasant, perhaps that is why it suppresses the appetite. all the best urban

I guess a nasty tasting drink would kill the appetite!:)

The tea that they serve in Chinese restaurants is Oolong tea. I never heard that it was an appetite suppressant, but I don't claim to be an expert on it. I have heard, and I don't know whether it's true, that green tea helps one to lose weight, but I think that it works by affecting the metabolism not by suppressing the appetite.

I like it. When I was in China, I used to drink oolong tea every day. There are many kinds of oolong tea. Different kind has different taste, but all of them are not spicy at all. You can go to a Chinese restaurant to try one. Hope you like it:)
