We usually try to get rid of virus from surfing the net and from diskette. Me I use 3, an anti-virus program, a registry cleaner and Personal Sygate Ad-aware software for almost 3 weeks and it made my computer free from viruses. I am always alarmed of hazards and I can know when somebody is doing high jacking info from my computer.

Symantec software is the best solution for all of your problems. You don't have to install different antivirus programs.Symantec is all-in-one software for protecting your PC.But you must not forget to update the softwares regulrly.

I use Symantec too and I've used it for years. I've never had any problems with it at all. Trusty and reliable. And yes, updating is a necessary step in your computers security. You don't want to catch a "cold" because of a lack of information now, do you? :)

For my Linux OS, I use nothing. For my Windows XP, I use Nod32 and ZoneAlarm Firewall. I have never gotten a virus before.
