NTFS or FAT32 file sytem ??

Which one should i use for my windows system ? I have heard that FAT32 provides better performance but NTFS provides better security ? is it so ? any suggestions ?

I think that NTFS is good for windows than FAT32 because in NTFS u can get security and u can save your disk space by compressing the content of disk as well... so i prefer NTFS for windows to use...

If your still on, not only is NTFS faster but it is the only File system that supports recovery when a system fails due to log files and supports larger partions much better. But if you are running an older system like win2000,or win95 you will have to run Fat32 or Fat cause the older OS doesn't support NTFS fully if at all.

That would depend on what windows system you intend to use, because anything pre win2000 cannot use ntfs, and i believe that win2000 and up needs to use NTFS. So, whichever you are using i would use what the OS recomends if you want your OS to work well.
