What we use is a soya sauce (medium not light) its thicker than the soya sauce that they have in restraunts for rice and that. Take a fork or spoon and spread it around. Take all the spices you want and put it on it as well. You can use garlic powder or crshed fine garlic as garlic is an aqcuried taste. After marinating both sides of the steak. Place in a well sealed container and put in fridge. I like to marinate the meat for 24 - 48 hours so that it really soaks up the sauce. Every few hours shake it so that both sides get more of the juices. You don't have to marinate this long but the longer the better.
