Does anyone have any ideas on what to cook for a almost 3 year old who is quite fussy when it comes to food. Some days he wants to eat and other days not. Lately all he's wanted is cheese with jam on it. It's great that he's eating cheese and that he's also gotten big on drinking milk but isn't he missing out on nutrients by not eating other foods and having a mixed diet.

Kids want something that appeals to them. My youngest daughter is the same way. What we do is getting cookie cutters of things they like. Like mickey mouse or barbie. Anything that they like they will usually eat. Be patient as your child is only 3.

I'll give the cookie cutter idea a try. What makes things harder is when you find something he likes and it works for awhile and then he decides he doesn't like it any more. He has an iron deficiency so I can't help but worry.
