one of the most discussed about topics in the recent past was racism in cricket. media pounced on the opportunity and television channels had long discussions about it. but i would like to highlights certains other aspects of racism in india here. while we are all gald to accuse the english south africans and australians of racial remarks against asian players, and while its true, we dont seem to do nothing about whats happening in our backyard. just take a trip t the villages of india, where dalit women are being stripped and raped and their houses are burned. and the government hardly does anything about. so its high time we took care of these things first
