I have always had a job because of the need. I was just laid off and would like to work from home. There are just so many scams out there. Are there any real work from home jobs out there?

Yes there are, but first you need to decide What you want to do. It is easy to say you want to work from home but then to actually make the money is another thing. You can read more on "how to effectively look for a job" here: http://makingahappylife.blogspot.com I am currently adding more than 130 links for possible work at home places for WAH(m's) and will start will daily leads from Monday 14/1-08. Good luck in finding a job!

I operate a home daycare and I have now for 17 yrs. It has worked out great for me. I do have issues with my kids after school activities cause I work until 530 every day. It makes it hard for me to get to certain things before that time. I am at home every day tho. Im here for my kids every morning and evening....and all day during breaks and summer vacations. Its really a good thing to consider if u like children. You also dont have to be licensed to do it as long as u only keep a certain number of children.

Ask yourself my dear fro this question: 1.what am i good at? like writting? cooking?dancing, teaching, decorating, name it and then think of a way how you can earn for this... 2.start reaching for someone who needs your help and pay you in return as income.. 3.a discent and clean work at home is not degrading,,,

Yes, there are genuine jobs online. Affiliate marketing, surveys, data entries and the like are programs which I'm not sure, therefore do not try to venture and would not recommend. You are better off freelancing which I am doing for the past year. The first thing you have to consider is how you will get you earnings/payment. I suggest you open up a Paypal account and have it verified by your credit/debit card. If you have settled this, you're on your way. Most of your clients, I suggest you get from Craig's list. Your success depend on what you can offer them or if you can do the job they posted. All you have to do is pick your choice from the categories there. I also enrolled or signed up with oDesk.com. There you have to upload your information. You can also look there for freelance jobs posted. Just follow their guide. They will inform you if a client would like to interview you for the job/s you applied. Here also, you have to establish your mode of payment and your rate, they will guide you through everything, just browse/study the site more thoroughly. Try also surfing the net for "no fee work-at-home" sites and review what they have to offer. An example of this is gofreelance.com. I hope I have been a help to you. Good luck on your WAH job hunting!
