Anxiety/Panic Attacks

For anyone who has ever had a panic attack, I can relate. I have been dealing with them since I was 17 years old (I am now 28). They got so bad that I would go numb and feel as if I was going to drop dead because I couldn't breathe. Over a year ago I finally went on medicine for this. I NEVER wanted to do this but then realized I needed extra help. I went on a 12mg Paxil. I now only take it once a week to control and balance myself out. As a young outgoing social person I was worried I couldn't go out and have drinks with friends on it. The low dosage that I was on though abled me to have a social drink. In case you have the same panic attacks that I did and are skeptical about going on medicine, don't be and don't be ashamed it really does help!

I have had those. It feels like your totally detached from whats going on. It's like your in your own bubble. But for me the sounds are so amplified. It is very scary! It's like your in a dream or something. Not really a dream but a nightmare.

Well face is index of our mind, so happiness or anxiety it gets reflected. Paleness one exact reflection of our anxiety and hair fall is more during these times.

I took buspirone and had no problems. It helped and is one of the few medicine that are considered safe enough to take during pregnancy. They said it didn't work for everybody and that panic attacks are the hardest for of anxiety to find medicine for. So when I got pregnant I thought I'd just have to skip it, bad, but they put me on this and it worked well.
