democratic vice president

so I know it is yet unknown who is going to be the democratic presidential nominee ... but has anyone given any thought to who should be the vice president. Obama says that he does not want to be VP at all. And in my opinion the General is too old to be VP if the typical plan is have the VP run after the presidents 8 years. Obviously my opinoin is that Obama shouldn't be president for another 16 years ... but who do you think is a viable option.

I really don't think that Obama needs to wait 16 years, I mean, age is not everything. Really I do not care to much between the top three for vp, but I want Obama for president. Most of all, I would like Obama/Edwards '08!

I have heard the Dem's saying the loser of Obama Clinton would be the VP but I don't know. I love Obama but really don't like Hillary. If Obama loses the Dem nomination he'll have a huge opening in 4 years to get right back in. But if he takes the VP nod and Hillary blows it them Obama is the next Edwards. Personally I'd love an Obama/Edwards ticket but all the "insiders" say its too liberal ticket. I think they are the 2 best for the job so why not throw them on the ticket together.
