Sir Edmund Hillary - Mt Everast / myLot

Does everybody know about Sir Ed being dead? if you didn't then you do now. He just died NZL Date of 11th January, yes just a day ago. Have any of you out there climbed Mount Everast??? I have not ever done more than I think Looked at it.

I was saddened to hear of Sir Edmund Hillary's passing. He was such a good man. Not just as an athlete (climbing Mt. Everest makes him an athlete for sure), but as a human. He gave and gave to his community, and never let fame stop him from being a down to earth person. I love the idea of climbing Mount Everest, but I am not physically capable of doing that. It would be remarkable to be able to accomplish it though.

Have to agree. I love the idea of climbing Mount Everest too, but like you I have got things to reduce the capability plus Medication to make me sooooo tired to take this much time to do this. I don't reckon I'd even have the Gutts to even try so I don't think it would be any good even trying anyway.
