Taxes- Are toll fees deductable?

I am sure I could look this up on the IRS website, but honestly that site is a pain! Towards the end of 2007 my husband started a job that requires him to drive 32+ miles one way to get to work and pay a toll. I know that what you can and can not deduct for business expenses seems to always change. I don't think he can deduct his mileage or his gas expenses because he is not traveling for work and his car is not registered as a work vehicle. The few times he has traveled for work, they paid his mileage (which we can deduct what they did not pay him for). What about the daily toll from work? Could that be deducted even though his car is not a business vehicle?
