Here in my country, we suffered a lot of natural disaster and climate changes. We even have heavy storm and heavy rain. Remember back in February, 2007, Jakarta had the worst flood ever. Lots of area covered with water and there were blackouts. Scary and it may happen again looking at the recent climate change.
What about your country, the place you live? Do you think more of this will come?
One way to stop it is to protect and conserve our environment. The earth is getting old...

natural disasters always come every year. its like a cycle. the only different thing is some of them becomes stronger every year and the danger and casualties becomes greater to humans and even in nature. and i think we all know that these is due to humans themselves. it is people's doings that amplify the dangers brought about by these disasters. and i think it will be greater for the coming years unless people become concerned and do something about it. ^__^

I live in the Philippines and weather patterns have really changed. Last December, the country have experienced lots of rainfalls which never happened the years before. I feel sorry about the disasters that struck your country. God forbid the coming of other catastrophe in your country and ours.
I guess it's about time to act. You're right, the earth is getting older. Although the earth is aged, its not her that's going to perish centuries now if we dont do anything about it. Here in Bayawan City, the local government have concocted the perfect Biodiesel made from Jatropha. It's completely safe for the engine and the environment. It's our way of contributing to the worsening condition of mother earth.

We are becoming much warmer here now than when I was a child... we had much more snow, and longer winters back then. I like things the way they are now... lots of rain, and the temperature not too hot or too cold. I'm very happy here.

Yes. Some country that usually cold becomes warmer. But some country that usually warm becomes hotter. It's all because of the global warming. Sometimes it's very hot yet the day after, it's very cold and rain very hard. All this climate changes happened all over the world.
