i the first ever teddies that my dad brought my when i had been born just a few hours. he is called terry bear, as he is brown, with a white shirt on, which an orange on. so i named him after one my of my favourite chocolates, terrys chocolate orange, hence the name terry. i take him everywhere with me. i took him on holiday to america with me, i have taken him to my three holidays to skegness with my fiance.i also have a bracelet i had at my christening. but i do think tht it is very important to keep things from your childhood. either just as a reminder or to pass onto your children in later life. so i was wondering do any of my fellow mylotters keep any of their things from their childhood.

I keep some of my childhood toys and books. Now they all left to my son. Some toys were already broken by my son. So in the future he has to spend money for his children:)

No have nothing from my childhood, but if i could slvage one thing it would be Boo Boo bear which was in fact a night dress case I used to cuddle at night. Even wrote a poem about him Here goes, sorry Soft and cuddly, comforting, Someone to talk to when the weather is rain, A shoulder to cry on, to shout at to love, Seeming sometimes greater than people you love, Always there, never strays, You go away but he stays, You love him so deeply, hate him at times but that poor little taddy bear, he never minds....

I did keep a lot of that stuff for a long long time. cause i wanted my kids to play with my old stuff. And wanted to be able to pass it along to my kids. However, between my parents devoirce and my mom moving houses, and me moving around, all my childhood stuff is gone. I have some stuff from my teenage years left, but even that everytime i go back to my mom's for a visit i tend to get rid of a little more each time i go. I feel bad for using her space as storage i think. I hope all my beanie babies are still there. I would like to pass those on to my daughter. I have a lot of them! i hope my mom kept those.

I've kept many things. I couldn't name any, just visit the loft or williams room. You'll notice that none of us have the habit of throwing away things, I mean geez I've kept my father for all these years and I know I've tried so many times to throw him out. That dull, boring face just appeals to me and then he gets placed back into his chair where he can moan for ever, smoke the day away and cook faty foods. ~Joey I'm laughing, I'm laughing!
