Why Do People Create Tattoo On Skin in Different Colours And Styles?

It is surprising seeing people in tattoo of different clours and styles, each time I see them I keep asking myself why such designs, how do they have times for it and even the cost of some of them is high. Though, I saw a festival of tattoo on TV where they are showing different designs and styles. Of what importance is TATTOO? Even they call some demon tattoos, devil tattoos etc. Is it not waste of precious time, money and resources?

There's many reasons people get tattoos. Tattoos are an ancient art done by lots of cultures. I have a tattoo and for me it has a significant meaning. It's spiritual. It represents my culture and who I am as a person and what I feel. It's hard to put into exact words what it means when I say it represents me and who I am. It just has a very spiritual meaning to me. I didn't get it because I thought it was cute or a fad or just something frivolous. I know I will have it for the rest of my life so I chose something that has great meaning to me.

does it mean the same thing to different people? tattoo should be hidden since it might have different meanings.

All I care about is what it means to me. If other people see it and interpret it the way they want to interpret it that's their business I have no control over what other people think of it all that matters is that I like it and as long as I know what it means to me I don't care what other people think.

Why do you feel that tattoos are a waste of " time, money and resources"? Is it because you would never get one. Most people get tattoos because they symbolize a transformation in their life, or something about themselves. To such people a tat is not a waste of time, money and resources; it is a part of their life.

I disagree with you. Do you have it? Some will design tattoo all over their back, atimes all over the stomach and you say it is not a waste of time? it is.
