Our children are in danger

I heard that there cases of meningism in Europe for 2008.
One baby had died from meningism in Italy and one woman in Greece, some cases are in hospital even in Albania.
This is a desease that is to dangerous especialy for children.
Its signs are: high temperature, strong headache,nuchal rigidity etc.
From the day I knew these news I keep my child at home,away from people. He is 17 month old so it is easy for me to control him and to keep him separated from the others.
Do you know more cases for 2008 around the world?Where? Do you know anything else for this desease?
