Many English Football fans will know the plight of Leeds United. The have plummeted in the past few years, from Premier League and Champions League football, to Coca Cola League Division One. Their struggle began when they encountered financial problems and dropped from Premier to Championship League, but that was only the beginning. They made the play-offs the following year, but failed to win promotion back to the Premier. Then the year after that, they were close to bottom and had six points deducted, thus falling even further, into Coca-Cola Div 1. Before the 2007/2008 season started, another fifteen points were deducted by the league, but this didn't stop them!!!Dennis Wise, their Manager of one year, has pulled them round... they went into the season, directly pulling back the fifteen points that had been deducted, by winning the first five games. This put them on zero points, whilst the others were all having points added. Now, they are third in the table, with 43 points, only 4 points behind the leaders, Swansea, who have a game or two in hand, admitted, but they're not guaranteed to win those games. The supporters have, despite media labelling them thugs, remained loyal and supportive to their club. I'm one of those supporters, and I just want to say that the Leeds United Supporters, together with Dennis Wise, are bringing the club back to where they belong. We WILL be back! This video will give you an idea of the good humour and belief to be found amongst the Leeds United fans. Do take a look... it will enlighten your day! lol. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6_IYrvihIFY What do you think???

I do hope you're right, my friend. I'm a die-hard supporter, as I know they're worthy of a far better class of football, but time will tell. If we can only get over the politics, we'll do well, I'm sure. We need to climb two divisions back into the Premier League, where we belong, which I'm sure will happen if we're only left alone by those who want to get their hands on our ground. I'm keeping the faith, my friend. Thank you for your congrats... and come on you Leeee-eeeds. :) Brightest Blessings, love and hugs. xx

Determination seems to be the key for Leeds and they have done well under the circumstances and I'm sure they will be back amongst the top leaders of the premiership before long. Blessings my friend.

Chris Moyles must be a Leeds supporter; he's done several songs about them. lol. They have done very well, and I think we have to put it down to Dennis Wise's determination and selection of players to buy... Beckford has done particularly well. He seems to score at least one in almost every game. I'm going to have to check the Club site and see how many he has accumulated this season. Yaboah's pretty nifty too! :) I hate to get my hopes up too much because every time they do well, something happens behind the scenes to knock them back again. There's a property developer guy out there (no names mentioned in here), who would move heaven and earth to get Leeds out of Elland Road, so he can demolish it, and build a retail park on that area, plus the waste land around it. Thus, complaints keep going in to the league, or backhanders, whichever, and points are deducted for silly little reasons, and the Club suffers. Oh well.. we'll see, but I'm proud of them, as I am sure, are all the other supporters. We just have to core the bad apple now! :) He's a thorn in our sides. Brightest Blessings.
