mail delivery

Our mail box is on our house by our front door so out mail(wo)man walks our route. Almost everyday we hear her yacking away on her cell as she delivers the mail. "You know gir, u gotta be kidda me... no way..." yada yada yada. every day. i doesnt really matter to me because i get my mail but I was wondering is this normal? Does you mailman yack on the phone while delivering your mail?

My mailman dosen't talk on the phone but one of them does listen to the radio alot I know when the one mailman is coming as I can hear the radio a block away.
It dosen't bother me as long as I get my mail it has to be awful boring walking around putting mail in peoples mailboxes all day long.

We have a few different mail carriers and one in particular is always on the phone too. Sounds like the same conversation as well. Maybe we're on the same route. ;)
