Well my boyfriend and I had a discussion the other day about what came first!! So I naturally think the egg... all things to me start in a baby state right?. Well much to my suprise he said the chicken! Not knowing why he said because God put two of every kind of animal on the ark and not the eggs! SO my thought was to react to that was... was that the first though? I'm very interested in what others thoughts are on this situation!!

I too say the chicken came first because the Bible says God created the animals it says nothing about eggs. It is funny how often this question gets asked.

I don't think Jesus and Darwin are really fighting. Jesus wouldn't stay a chance if the match was on the same ring. Darwin (more, his successors) has EVIDENCES for his theory.

Christians are currently trying to reconcile creationism with scientific theory so that they are BOTH right.

This is probably one of the oldest philosophical questions ever. To say that it gets asked a lot only confirms that it is a valid question that SHOULD be asked. I think Jesus and Darwin are still fighting that one over.

Eggs and birds are both a product of natural evolution, NOT god's creation. So, to properly answer the question, you should imagine billions eggs and chickens, in a span of millions years, slightly evolving from reptilian eggs, by little unseen steps, into something else. So, probably you could define a moment in time when a reptilian egg hatched into a bird...

Ok.. so I'm a little curious, forgive me if this comes off offensively. I am a person of questions and I seek knowledge and understanding. So your theory, is that the reptilian eggs spawned off to create the forms of birds, chickens, etc. we see today?
