Hi, There are bound to be generation gap between parents and kids. I have had two children, grown up adults now. We have also had our own generation gap problems. We used to talk it out.. If you can do that you will not have any problem in your family. If either my son or daughter had any problem with our decisions, they told us directly. We used to sit and talk together. Whoever convinces the other person of the right or wrong, then that decision will be followed. You have to prove that you are right and convince them . If you sicceed in that parents will be happy to let you do what you want... There are exceptions for every rule, there are some autocratic parents also who do not listen to kids at all. It will be 'do as I say or....' That is very difficult..

Parents who treat their children with harmony will receive harmony from children.Be giving to children will work wonders.Give love, affection, kindness, generosity, dignity, positiveness to children. Then children learn the same.
