Our First Big Snow of the Season!

LOL - it's so funny to read this discussion. We, here in Michigan, have had several snows including nearly 2 feet on New Years Eve. I don't like to drive when the roads are bad so do understand your situation though - we're getting snow today but it's light and not building up much but with the fridged cold temps it's keeping the roads wet so I'll be staying home.

I would love to live down there. We have so much snow here, it starts in November and we have it until March and sometimes we have a snow storm in June. I cannot get out much as it takes to long to walk to somewhere and it is so cold. I only get out when I have to and thank goodness we have the car, but then the snow plower comes along and piles the snow in front of the driveway. And we have had thawing and freezing so the snow underneath is like ice.

Snow sounds like a lot of fun, if you don't have to be out in it. But if you do have to be in it seems like it can be pretty inconvient. I have lived in Los Angeles County California all my life, so I have never really experienced real snow. One time, I played in little patches here and there, but it is not the same.

We must have gotten the top part of that storm here in Ohio. we didn't get much snow, maybe 1/2 inch, but the schools were on a 2 hour delay because the roads were bad this morning from ice underneath..

Hi Springlady its nice to know that u have snow fall just hope it will not enter into danger level and u will be driving carefully during there is snow on road. and hey, do share pic of snowman u r going to build in back yard of ur hoe OK take care

I know the feeling i am new to west virginia and when it snow3s i wont drive but then i am getting cabin fever here ,however its better than the hurricanes wich i came here to get away from!
