Toddlers and sharing

My neice and daughter - Here is an example. My niece has her own big girl chair (not pictured), but she is pushing my dauighter out of her little chair... What is not shown is my daughter says fine and goes to sit in her chair and then my neice has a fit and gets her out of that chair also...

I was wondering if any one has noticed the same things as I have. To start off let me tell you that I am a stay at home mom, so my daughter doesn't go to any type of day care. (not that there is anything wrong with that) I seemed to have noticed that my niece and nephew who go to child care and they don't share things at home... My niece doesn't let my daughter play with her toys (neice is going to be 3 and my daughter is 1.5), but she wants to play with my daughters toys. I have noticed this with a few of my other firends kids who are also in day care... One thing I have noticed as well is that these childern also don't normally have other childern at their houses. Although my child doesn't either and she tries sharing everything even when you don't want to share with her always giving people and animals her toys, food, etc. My best friend who also has two children and she is a stay at home mom as well and her children share really well with others at their house. I hope this makes sence. Do you have any stories like these or any insite?

My children never went to day care either. They are very good at sharing. I believe its that fact that the children in day care don't get the attention, the one on one lessons from an adult. Its hard when theres one adult assigned to five children. Thats just my opinion.
