I want to go on a Road Trip.

I have not been on a road trip anytime but would love to do so. A few of my friends have been planning to do so but it has not been working out. Can someone tell me how is it to go on a road trip and what are the essential things one needs to carry along with them?

I haven't been either.But love to go on one.I believe it can be so much fun.Essentials.... Water,Beddings just in case, and Cash I believe.
