Image problems

Hi everyone, For a while now I have been having problems viewing some images. With some programs like System Mechanic 6 and some casino site screens instead of seeing certain pictures it just shows a white screen where the image is meant to be and it has a little red and white rectangle in the top left hand corner. Does anyone know what im talking about? and if so please help. :)
