My sister failed her exam for driver's license and it wasn't her fault...

The woman who taught her said she's a really good driver. If she would have droven without the sign on the car people wouldn't even notice she was a student driver. So when coming to her exam she was sure she would pass. Now what happened? Her examinator that's what happened. He at first was being very nice (too nice if you know what i mean)What a pretty name and you must be Naima.bla di bla di bla. So as soon as they got in the car he started nagging about the car.The car wasn't good enough.Than while driving he said she had to go over the max speed limit while driving on the left side of the road way. Then he started to yell to her about not to put on her windsreen wipers because it wasn't raining so hard.I mean that's her decision. Also when she decided to stop while a biker had not yet put his hand to the right he said you could have droven already and he said he did put his hand to the right. Then he said more gas at a time while a biker came her way.I mean how many lies could he tell.He would be a reckless driver in traffic.I really think he is.And i was so angry at they guy.I never learned what he told my sister.Instead of examinating he was giving her lessons how to drive. What do you guys think of this situation? Let's say people here in holland don't pass the first time because of unfair examinators.

Sounds like an abuser of power. There are many people who get a little bit of authority, and blow it way out of hand. I would suggest to find out the next time he will be evaluating someone and have them secretly place a recording device in their pocket to see if he is that way with everyone.

Yes we thought about recording it too.But next time her teacher comes with her too.And also for the next time they will ask them not to give her that jerk again. He really abused the situation. She was a bit nervous like everyone else. She really is a good driver and her first teacher got very sick so she at first had to quit the lessons. She's almost 2 years busy to get her driver's license and she didn't had that many lessons. She just had a pause of more than half a year. And it has cost her a lot of money which she doesn't really have so i told her i will support her.She really deserves some luck now.

Well good luck you guys getting her licensed to drive! I'm lucky that down here the person that teaches us, was the administrator of the test. The rule of thumb is if they are certified to teach they are certified to say if they are safe drivers!

Did she file a complaint? the examiner is not an instructor he should not have been speaking at all other than to give direction for whatever task he wanted her to do - not HOW TO do the task. ie. make a right hand turn. parallel park here, make a 3 point turn there - park the car - cross lanes -

I think she will file a complaint, but my brother in law said it has no use because they protect the examiners. He really did wrong and he also shouldn't have told lies.I mean if he wants to break the rules let him do that in his spare time right? Like you said he only should gave her instrucion which direction to go.

I had a state trooper give me the drivers test, so I was very nervous. I think if I was your sister, I would have said so you want me to run over the guy on the bike, your going to pay his medical bills. I would probably have put the car in park and said stop yelling. By his behavior your sister wouldn't passed the test either way. I think if your in a bad mood, don't bring it to work. When she goes again, make sure she tells the place that she doesn't want that guy again. Honestly, she should have filed a complaint against the guy. If you went with her, you could of been her witness. I mean number 1 rule of driving is never and I mean never yell at the driver. Your just asking for trouble when you do that. Putting her down on the car she drives is rude and insulting. I would have said hey what's wrong with my car. As long as the lights, wipers, signals, and horn works, along with getting me from point A to point B is fine to me and none of your business.

Thank you for the tip.Well next time if she pass and her examinator will ask her why she didn't pass the first time that she would tell him about the examinator and what he did. His behaviour was unacceptable and he should lose his function for it.If he wants to teach while examinating than he should be a teacher. Next time we will ask them not to give that same jerk again. If i were her i would have said to the guy who's driving me or you?. He just really abused her situation of being nervous. That's how she got unsure.

How many times are you allowed to take the exam where you live? Next time She goes back, request a different exam person or go to a different testing facility. There must be others. We have a limit on how many times we can take the test and there is a waiting period between tests. I hope she gets a better person next time! Good luck!

We're allowed to fail as much as we can,After the fourth time there will be a so called citizen exam( it's now called different) but it will be with a person who's very calming and who's not so tough on the students and they will pass easier. But next time we do request some other guy because what this guy did was wrong only the problem is that they always protect the examinators unfortunately.

i failed my test the first time, too...i was very nervous for starters...but that wasn't the issue...the guy told me to go at an intersection when i didn't feel comfortable going...(it was a green light, but there were cars coming at us!) he told me i was driving too slow and then when i sped up he told me i was driving too fast - over the speed limit! well, when i went back the next week i had the same guy. i thought oh no i am going to fail again! but now i knew the course and practiced with my dad about 10 times. After I finished the test, the guy said, why did i fail you the last time? that was perfect! you are a really good driver! looking back on it i think i am glad i failed the first time...i am better at ignoring my passengers while driving now!!

That things happens a lot.I passed it the first time and my sister drives the same way i do. My father had a guy who thought he was too young to drive and thought he was too unsure and drove too slow.So the next time he thought he did better and the guy says you're driving too sure and asked him why (this was some other guy).He said your colleague told me to do that. Then the guy said no it's not the way to drive.Than at the third time he passed and the guy who he had the first time he said you're driving is perfect how come you failed.Well you told me to do this your other colleague told me to do that. The problem with the examinators are that they are not on the same line and they also sometimes don't want people to pass so they do everything to ruin the exam. Also an examinator should not do instructions on how to drive but just tell you which directions to go to. I'm glad you're able to ignore the passengers because sometimes they can get you nervous too.

Wow that is crazy, I haven't ever heard anything like that before. That guy should be reported to someone. Now my cousin had a bad experience when he first tried to get his license. He was on his way back to the DMV and the examiner told him to change lanes. Well, he was getting ready to but he noticed that someone cut through the median and was coming into that lane so he stayed in the lane that he was in. Well the lady failed him for not changing lanes when she asked him to.

I think he should be reported too,but i don't think it will work because they always protect them. That lady should be fired i mean if he can't go changing lanes than she's a lousy driver . I don't understand why those people even are examinators. Also the mean thing is that here in my country only a couple of people are allowed to pass the exam. It's less than 50 % because they want people to spend more money. They deny it but it's the truth some people drove really good but sometimes the examinator thinks you're too young and then he will make an excuse that someone drives too unsure.
