Please I need some answers to this question. It seems Myspace has become so annoying that I can't even send an image link Mylot referral to my friends. I've tried using tinyurl to shorten my referral link and then put my HTML code to send it out - but everytime if someone clicks it - it won't click on Mylot it will automatically got to Myspace.com - The same happen to me as well doing a image referral link with Yuwie, but I already found a way using Yuwie for shortening its URL so that my friends can join it. But with Mylot - I can't find any website that shortens its referral URL so that it can bypass Myspace - If any of you knows the trick and knows what I'm talking about - I need some answers - Thanks in advance.

Hi, you may want to try are notlong.com, or if myspace keeps blocking the links then I dont think it would be too hard to make a page that waits 5 seconds then redirects to your referral link. That way I think you'd be able to get passed it.

The shortest (and only) mylot referral link I know of using is: http://mylot.com/ltmoon Which would be h-t-t-p://mylot.com/~your~user~name Beyond that you could try (www).mylot.com/~your~user~name Or maybe just mylot.com/~your~user~name The bigger issue is that many sites do not want you sending links period or more specifically not sending links about competing sites. myLot gets a bug up its butt every once in a while and runs around deleting posts with links to other site that myLot's tiny little ego is threatened by. myLot does this in spite of the fact that they allow and even promote the ability to include hyperlinks in discussions by certain members. I suspect in the case of MySpace they are blocking links to other known social networking websites.

That must be very frustrating. I seldom use Myspace and yeah they are getting strict in sending images or links. I wouldn't know where to get it, but I hope you have found it by now.
