Rules regarding Referal links

For whomever had attached the tag of "do not post referal links!" according to the MyLot disscussion rules I am allowed to.
As long as the link is not just posted up as spam, or in an unrelated disscussion then you are permitted to post your referal links.
So I don't know who has this idea that you are not allowed to post them at all but it states in the rules that you are. So please don't tag my disscussion with something like that until you've read the rules regarding the issue. Thank you.

I am also confused at times when it comes to ref links. So, to be on a safer side, I prefer not to put any links here. I don't mind promoting my links but only if mylot allows. Regards

There still are people who start their discussions with a referral links but I usually do not reply them. Many times such discussions were deleted, once I even lost a best response that way, and it happened long time ago, when they weren't so strict about the links.

There are lots of us who put links in our responses and
in some of the discussions. Most of these are links to our blogs.
I have done this many times. But I do not put links to other community
sites. That will get your discussion deleted for sure and/or you banned.
I like getting the links to new and interesting places. I post the ones that
will help the members earn more money. After all this is a community of people who are here to help each other, is it not?
