Did it take forever for your child's two front teeth to fall out?

My youngest finally lost her two front/top teeth within the past 10 days, after being loose for almost 3 months. It was a very long experience for us. Then BAM she lost three teeth in the matter of 5 days, one was because she fell down and it instantly became loose (but it wasn't one of the two front ones). One of her adult teeth was behind and almost completely down so she doesn't have the big gap in her mouth. Her baby tooth sure did look funny because it was almost completely sticking straight out of her mouth but it was hanging on tightly by just a little bit that pulling it was an option. Then she came home from school so proud, because she pulled it out herself. I'm sure her teacher was thrilled, considering she said loosing teeth is not in her schedule. LOL You can tell she hasn't had kids of her own yet, but you would think after 6 years of teaching first grade she would be use to it. We were joking around with my daughter that the toothfairy doesn't want to visit our house for at least six months, since she stopped by so many times in one week.

My daughter's teeth have taken a long time to loosen and come out. She's 8 and the top side ones are finally loose. But I remember that mine to a long time too. I guess it's genetic.
