I have been a member of eBay and like the style of ebusiness a person can start. First of all, there is no start up capital needed. Secondly, there are so many things we can actually put up for sale and better still we decide the price. For those who are beginning in online marketing, perhaps, you will find eBay a good way of entrance. I would appreciate views and opinions from members whether you an an eBay marketeer or not.

That's interesting - I have heard a lot of people say that it costs money for everything on ebay, posting a product, pictures and such - maybe I misunderstood and need to study it closer. I really want to sell our products, arts & crafts, online but don't want to have to raise the price in order to pay ebay their fees. I would love as much help as possible on this.

ebay.com definitely charges listing fees. Where we come from, Malaysia - ebay.com.my does not charge any listing fees. I think so far Singapore doesn't charge as well if I'm not mistaken.

I hear about that in fact I really want to start up an ebay business or a stor but I don't know what kinds and products I'm going to sell. Having said that I'm afraid about the shipping. How do you ship things and how you set the shipping price. Is there some e-book or guide which answer the frequent questions asked. I know that the sites have some FAQs but they are not enough

I have an ebay account but have not done any business too. I think we learn by first having an ebay account first. Then after that learn from the FAQs as to what to do. A time will come when ebay becomes useful.

Rule of thumb - never ship out anything until you've been paid in full. Shipping charges are to be paid by buyers. So as a seller you'll always be at the winning side
