How long do you think the Jonas Brothers "obsession/mania" will last. They been around for a couple of years now but ever since the recent Disney record signing they just kinda blew up over night. I was a fan of there's before all the teenyboppers had there pictures glued to there walls. I just hope they just don't become a fad and disappear after there tour is over.

Just like any boyband before them, they'll have their peak and then start to die out. I don't know how long they'll be around though. They're like the Hanson of today for my preteen cousins. Only Hanson were much more talented. They didn't last that long either, though, despite the buzz. So, I'd give Jonas Brothers maybe 2 or 3 (but that's pushing it) years until they're no longer relevant.

I give them til about the beginning of 2010. Hanson? They actually were good. Their star faded too soon. I was kind of heartbroken when their follow up to "MmmBop" didn't get airplay--a song called "Weird." Their vocals, their musicianship was the most superb thing that side of the 1970s.

I don't know, I know several years ago I heard a song of theirs and I really liked it, but I was really wrapped up in my favorite bands at the time. Now I've definitely opened back up, and I want to hear newer stuff, and still after all this time I still like their music. I remember when I first started hearing of them I thought, hmm... 3 brothers and group named after their last name, why is that so familiar to me.. LOL I didn't think that in a mockery way, because I really liked Hanson back in the day, and I still pop in my cd's sometimes. But it is just so interesting to see how music trends cycle. Personally, everything I like I kinda still like, with some exceptions of course. I am basically still the same 13 year old girl who loved rock music and pop music, with a little country mixed in at times. Though now I'm 25! The only thing that annoys me is the teenyboppers, how you said about you were a fan before them I definitely understand that feeling. I liked Good Charlotte since 2000, and went to concerts pre-teenybopper, and afterwards. And I definitely enjoyed myself more before I had to deal with that! LOL I do get along with younger people, but it's a matter of how they act, if they are screaming "I'm gonna have your baby so and so" that is just annoying. haha I see that this is an older post, but if you are still on here and see this, did you see Camp Rock last week? Jonas Brothers were on that. It was cool!

Hey, I saw Camp Rock and I was so disappointed. I didn't find the movie as a whole very good but I like the songs. There were so many things wrong in the movie to mention. I think I might be comparing it to High School Musical, but oh well.

My daughter has been a huge fan since 2005. I get the feeling they'll be around for awhile.
