African Nation's Cup: Ghana 2 - 1 Guinee

How about that for an opening match? Ghana was without a doubt the better team, but Guinee held on in defense under the command of an impressive Bobo Balde. Not a very brilliant match, but a good pace and a superb victorious goal from Sulley Muntary in the last minutes. It's a pity for some good players like Balde or Feiondouno, but football's a team match and I think Ghana was the better team today. Maybe after a few games and some extra gelling, the Ghanians would turn into a cup-winning team. It remains to see the other teams play.

It's true, the woodwork saved the Guineans 3 times! But in football if you miss a lot of good opportunities you may end up with a ball in your own net. Ghana almost didn't win under this terms. Lucky with Muntari's goal!

I think what Ghana needs to do is focus more on the team and not on a few key players. That lacked in this game and it almost cost them the victory.

Yes, I am a fan of African football, I believe there are many good players that deserve to be watched.
