the latest craze these days is the internet of course! people hooking up online seems to be more and more common. i myself thought it would never be something i'd be interested in, but i have started talking with someone from a dating site that i think i'm interested in. its very small talk at the moment, im skittish and feel kind of strange at times lol. i ask myself if this person is really who they say they are. i am use to looking at someone and seeing body language, attitude, etc. and sometimes don't know what to say. what is your opinion of finding love online? have you or someone you know ever had it work out for them??

When I was first learning the pc I was just getting out of a bad relationship and had no friends. I turned to the internet to make friends. I did meet some great ppl that really helped me along in a bad time...then Hubby came along. I had no intentions of anything more than a friend and neither did he since he was just newly divorced. We found that we had alot in common including our mending hearts. Simple chat turned into long phone calls and finally into meeting each other. We've been together for 8 years and going on our second year of marriage. I will say that although mine turned out well there are precautions to be taken. Never, ever agree to meet someone by yourself...no matter how nice they seem. Take your time and really talk to them...get to know them and watch for inconsistancies when your talking. In my case, I had a friend who was a police officer run a background check on Hubby before I met him...better safe then sorry. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~
