I love this site...It is what would happen if ebay and hadcrafting got in a mid-air collision! It's like Ebay but for handmade items! You can see each artists little shop and discuss your purchase with them, browse through their wares, some even do custom work if you ask them nicely!
So check out Etsy.com
Anyone here already an Esty member??

I have not really been there till your discussion post. But I have heard of local craft makers selling their wares there before. and they seem to have nothing but praise for the site!
it looks like it might be difficult to sell things there because it's such a large website and there are so many talented people. and it's not like Ebay where you're selling known entity, albeit second hand.
perhaps when i have more time to do craft i will try selling some things on etsy.

I hope that you check it out, but you are right it can be tough to sell there, a lot of sellers use it as a chechout system for their own websites. They have to work really hard to sell, hand out business cards, exchange blog links etc. It's tough but some people make it work.
