Have you ever considered taking a class to learn something new just for your own personal growth? I have considered it many times, but can never seem to find a class I am really interested in. But I have found that the Community College here has a lot more to offer in classes than the ones in my old community. I am considering taking a pottery class, it's something I always wanted to learn and I think I would enjoy it.

From my own experience, I think self improvement is very important in my life. Learning something new, can bring us more useful skills which can help us act better than other people in the future competition. A person with skills will never lose the power to fight for a better life. Many people think I need not to learn so much and so hard as a girl, but i do not think so. I want to be a indepedent woman in the future, have my own career and high social status. I do not think that can be got by marring with a guy. So I try to get it by my own power. And I think if I am strong enough, I can make sure all my family members can lead a good life, and my children can have a great education.

sorry...got here a little late maybe. Am looking for some titles of books directed at self improvement, focusing on issues of tolerance and criticisms. It has be brought to my attention lately that I may be excessively critical and demanding. After some self-examination, they may have a point. Then again, they may just be under-acheivers crying about having their failures brought to light and analyzed. We can all get better, so the least I can do is try...any suggestions?

I think this is a good idea. When I had yoga classes in college, the teacher also offered us meditation class afterwards. I was able to be more focused and I was no longer prone to worry about useless things after I learned this one. Since there are not so many class which offers this topic, I read self-improvement and personal growth books when I have time. It's always nice to learn something new.
