I nees some opinions so please help me. I am currently seeing a man who i have been with for 5 years as of June. He is by far the best i have ever had; treats me like a woman, respects me and, get this, accepts my 3 children (all boys). In this day and age, who could ask for more? However there is a problem. My family hates him, well, actually i wouldn't say my whole family, just my mother, middle brother. You see a few years ago, my brother came to my house and violated my sweetie in a very violent way and two of my children were present also. Because of the bad choice he made, my brother had to go to jail. Ever since then, my mother (who by the way, John asked ifhe could take me out on a date) hates him and so does my brother. He fails to see the real reason why he went to jail. My brother and John have had run-in's with one another and my brother says that he will never let it go but right now i cannot afford to move or else i would becaue i live right next door to my mom and my brother does too. I don't know if i explained things enough but can someone give me some advice?
