Bananas are good source of iron. If you have a low iron count it could cause u to get painful leg cramps. they are also great in cereal.

I love Bananas. They are incredibly Popular. We buy at least 4 pounds a week here at our home. Bananas are loaded with lots of great things. Potassium being one of the biggest things. I have issues with low potassium, iron and magnesium. My doctors require I eat them every day. One Banana has over 600mg of potassium and only about 140 calories. Not bad! It also has 2 grams or protein and 4 grams of fiber per banana. It is incredibly important and helps your health a lot. It is also good for low sodium diets. It is not something you would try to consume a lot of if you are on a lower carb diet as it contains almost 40 per banana. But it also contains a lot of Vitamin A,B as well as some Thiamine, Riboflavin, Niacin and vitamin C, Calcium and Magnesium. It does contain Iron and Zinc but only trace amounts. So nothing major. They are also known for helping not only in anemia but with blood pressure, constipation, depression, hangovers, morning sickness, nerves. And in fact thjey say to eat this to help with obesity as it helps to control your blood sugar levels. So many things. So, we buy a lot and we consume quite a bit per month here at our home. Not only are they tasty but they are good for you too! How rare is that??? :) I love to cut them up and freeze them and then just eat them frozen as a snack.... Kind of like you would those Dips or whatever they are called that are icecream covered with chocolate. But, these are FAT FREE and yummy. Try it , you will love it :)
