I actually searched this online. It's pretty gross. I learned from BBC Food that one of it's major ingredients is animal blood. Eeeek. I already hate seeing even a smudge of blood on chicken, but a whole pudding full of blood. Ack! I think I'm going to become a vegetarian. Seriously. Continuing on with what I searched, black pudding is usually made in the UK. It is a blend of onions, pork fat, oatmeal and blood (usually from a pig.) They're actually pretty much sausages. Well, at least I learned one thing from this. Black pudding is definitely not a dessert. It actually looks a lot like a sausage. Only ickier.

OMG! Wrong post. Ha ha! This is in the ice cream section, so most likely you're referring to the black pudding ice cream. I've actually tried that one. They basically just add oreo chip cookies.
