acoording to the TV news,which brings pressure in both of the use of electricity and the transport of coal since an increasing number of people bask by the air-condition and gas heating.
I guess the unusual winter is related to environmental problems or something like them.
Or maybe it is a self-regulation of nature. you see, the earth is getting warmer because of the greenhouse effect and something like it, now the nature is trying to get back a balance,which is especially for temperature.

In a vast country like China can experience varied climate depending on its proximity to mountains, seas, valleys etc. The more we advance in science and technology, the ever increasing population, the increase in purchasing power all contribute to irrationale exploitation of mother earth. It is not only in China but elsewhere in the world that natural resources are being exploited in a harmful manner and no attention has been given to prevent rising of global warming. Unless everyone of us make concerted efforts, the problems of global warming cannot be solved by depending on total incapable of international governments of countries.

Unfortunately global warming is not giving us anymore time. I remember to have read somewhere that it is slowly clasping on us and it is a matter of few years, the whole world will experience some problem. Couple of months ago I had run a discussion on this topic and there were a lot of experts wrote responses.
Yes, as you said every one of us can contribute in our own way to diffuse the effect.
Yes, I am fine and family is doing well.
Why donot you to write a discussion explaining about how you celebrate chinese new year?

Yes I think the whole world is have extreme weather, we human have a lot to answer for, it is very scary, and i am not sure we can fix up the mess we are leaving out future generations...I hope we can

Yes, now everyday I watch the TV and learn this news. I am from Guangzhou and it's cold here. And in Hunan and Hubei Provinces which are not that far from Guangzhou, they suffers heavy snow. I am very surprised to see it.

the winter in Guangzhou is usually relative warm ,you are lucky as Cantonese.hehe
