Milk prices to go up in 4 years

My mom said she was reading an article in the paper and said that in the next 4 or 5 years milk prices are expected to go up to 10 dollars a gallon! this is kinda hard to believe but It could happen. She said something about the corn prices going up because of the ethanol now being used. I dont know..I didnt read the article but It made me think of a disccusion. Im sure pay rates for jobs would go up if milk became 10 a gallon since alot of people drink milk. Would you still drink as much milk as you do now if it was 10 bucks a gallon or would you cut back? Me and my husband drink about a gallon a day with just us. wow.

Wow, that is a lot, how much did we say a gallon was? 3 litres ? i cant remmeber, but i DO drink a lot of milk.. Here the min wage is going up to 10$ so it wouldnt surprise me if they raised the cost of living as well. Geez government.. only makes sense they gives and they takes.

O my. I hope it doesn't go up THAT much. That would be crazy if milk went up that much. Just think how much gas would be a gallon if milk is $10. And if milk goes up that much everything else will go up. And pay rates would HAVE to go up because no one could live on $7 - $10 an hour. Its scary to think about all of it, Whats the world coming to, and what is it going to be like in 4, 5 years.
