Cloverfield was...AWESOME!

There are sooo many words that can describe cloverfield...all of them positive. Thrilling, entertaining, orignal, frightening, awesome, amazing, new, creative, intense...etc etc etc!
I am really happy with how this movie turned out, it is not a disapointment. This movie had my whole group jumping in eachothers laps (me most of all). lol.
My dad warned my pregnant sister not to see it, he said it was way way way too scary for her!
Who else LOVED this movie?

I'm really glad you posted this discussion. My boyfriend really wants to see the movie, but it didn't look that good to me on the trailers. The way the movie is filmed (kinda like Blair Witch) is sickening to me. All the camera movement, even just watching the commercial made me sick. Was it like that for the whole movie?
I love the concept of the movie, how it was filmed kinda "behind the scenes" of this attack from a creature.
So it was really scary??? Good ending???

Yes it is filmed that way the entire movie. But I was like you; I thought that it was going to bother me, but it didn't at all. This movie is SO good, I just forget about it! It didn't bother me in the least.
Is it scary? Well....I went with my sister, my dad and my dads friend...my dad and my dads friend (you know...grown men) when cringing in their seats and making "ahhhh" nervous noises lol. And me...well...I was sqeezing my sisters arm (she got kinda mad!) LOL
The ending was okay...some people are really disappointed with it. I have this whole new way I wished the movie would have ended; but it isn't actually changin what happened, just adding more. So for me, the ending didn't ruin the movie at all. Everything about this movie was good!
But this movie is really good. I don't think you and your bf will be disappointed, I wasn't!
