Do you prefer living in the city or in the suburbs?

Which part would you rather live in? I would rather live in the suburbs away from major traffic and roadways and noise.

I enjoy the suburb life. I have never lived in the city so I couldn't really say but I work in the city and it seems noisy and too much traffic and crime.

I enjoy being on here too and meeting people on here. Everyone that I have communicated with has been very nice and caring and supportive and give great ideas and suggestions. Wish that there were more people like all of you around here.

Well I dont live in downtown but A decent part called the west end . I love the fact that in any direction I go I can get to a mall in 10 min. Richmond has great shopping places plus alot of historical parks. Have you ever been here before?

That is great that you are so close to the malls. I know that is very convenient. There is only one mall that is that close to me and the other one is about 30 minutes away. It sounds beautiful where you live. I have not been to Richmond before but I have been to this place timeshare resort called Massanutten which I believe is not too far from Richmond.

I really like living in the suburbs over the city because of all the traffic and noise, and the high crime that usually is associated with living in the city.I have lived in the city before though for 26 yrs and After, that I switched to the suburbs.

I agree that living in the suburbs is much more peaceful and safer than living in the city. That is true for here.

i don't like this mess and pollution

I prefer the suburbs too, though I have never actually lived in the city before. It is nice and quiet where i live so I can't complain. :-) Greetings to you too. A plus for you and JRay.

I am very much a country girl at heart. Big cities are nice to visit and to work in, but I want to raise my kids in wide open space where they can play outside with little to no worry of being harmed.

what is it like living in the city? Is it as noisy and polluted as everyone says? Here, it seems like there is more crime in the city. I don't know if that is true elsewhere or not. Hope that you had a nice weekend. :-) Thank you for replying to my topics. A + as always :-)

I prefer not having neighbors terribly close by. One reason I live on 7acres in the country. :) I'm not a city girl at all.

I prefer the suburbs. LOL It's close enough to what I need without being crowded. My kids can play and ride their bikes freely. It's quiet.

id rather live in the city.. im used to the noise and all that.. i cant live in tooo quiet place.. it just scares me to tell u the truth.. i just fear quiet times. cuz they r way tooo quiet that it hink that something is wrong or something happened..
