are your parents strict with you?

no, my parents are not that strict to me, they always give me the chance to know my self, to explore, to make friends to the people i wanted, but they are always there to give me some pieces of advices so that i will not go into the wrong way..i think being so strict to the children sometimes will lead into misunderstanding, that the child is not that open to his parents because his afraid to be scolded, also some of the parents has this ability to give you friends they wanted, and it's getting so harsh because you yourself dont have an ability of being so free, but put in your mind that they still your parents and they know what's best for you, just make an open communication to them so that you will not be hurt niether your parents..

Not really strict as long as i ask permission where im going and whose im with..and i have to follow some rules and curfew..and i really appreciate what they had done for me during those times..

no, never... I was free when I was young...of course, my parents also hit me, but I think they were not strict with me as a whole, they are very kind... I think parents should creat a free space for their children, but not hit or scolding. the communication is very important.

My mother is strict most of the time especially when I was in college and having all these friends who are inviting out. Since I am a lady, she fears I might not be able to finish college. But I told her, I promise to finish school. And so I did. Well, I have no regrets in her strictness to me since I learned a lot about life. I am well disciplined even I am alone facing the world now. Temporary happiness when I sneak out isn't fun in the long run. Her strictness lead me to have a better future. She cares that's why is strict. She's not hard on me, just strict. Everything should be in order.

My parents are not strict when we are at the right age. But when we are yet teen agers, wow!! my mother is more strict than my father. But I am thankful because she is didn't do it, maybe we become bad teens before. Well, It is normal for parents to be strict when they see that things are not good for us.

Yes my parents had been strict to me in some cases specially eating out. We siblings were motivated to cook or ask mom to cook at home and enjoy food at home. Besides in many things they wanted us to be disciplined but I was a little bit out of order. I want to be like my parents to my baby.

My parents were reasonably strict. Of course they have to set limits in order to discipline us but we were also given the freedom to do what we like. I love my parents a lot and I admire them on the way they brought us up. They taught us a lot about life and I appreciate a lot of things in life because of the values they inculcated in me. The good thing with my parents is that, when can discuss things if there's an issue. They tell us the pros and cons. As much as we respected them, they also showed us respect.
