Music the way it should be!

I know there are many genres of music - classical - pop - alternative - rock and so on and so on and so on! What I would like to know is: Is there anyone besides myself that likes country music from "way back" like Patsy Cline, George Jones, Conway Twitty . . . you know . . . the oldies but goodies? And if you do, what is your age group and when did you start listening to country music? Did you grow up listening to The Grand Ole Opry or have you even heard of it? What is it about this music that you like? When do you like listening to it? For instance, cleaning house, when it is raining, when you are lonely, when you've had too much to drink or when???? I am just interested. I grew up with the Grand Ole Opry on Friday and Saturday nights. I listen to Tanya Tucker (Delta Dawn, What's Your Mama's name, Two Sparrows in a Hurricane, etc) when I am cleaning. I go to sleep with my radio on AM650. I just want to know about other peoples preferences!

I like the newer country music. I don't like Tanya Tucker or any of the others you have listed.
