Anyone ever been to Calica Mexico?

We're going on a cruise in May and will travel from Miami to Key West and then to Calica, Mexico. I am so excited! I've seen many different excursion choices but I'd love to hear from anyone who has actually been to Calica and find out what you did while you were there. Would love to read your answers!

I have been to Mexico twice but not to the area you are going to. I hope that you really enjoy your cruise. The Mayan ruins are amazing and it is so interesting to look around them. I expect you have excursion choices to many of Mexico's historical sites. Will you spend time of some of the beaches? They are so beautiful with white sand, gently waving palm trees and a lovely warm sea to swim in.

The main thing we want to do is snorkel and see some dolphins. I have heard the ruins are amazing, so we may see them as well. We have 8 hours, so we're hoping to divide up our time and do a little of everything! We can't wait!!!

I love to go snorkeling too. I have seen nurse sharks and sting rays in Belize. In Australia I saw a manta ray. In French Polynesia I saw a star fish. In New Zealand I saw dolphins. I would love to see a sea horse. I hope that you have a wonderful time snorkeling.

i have never been there but i would love to visit it. I have a peer from mexico and he says it is not a place to be missed.

That's what I hear too! The beaches are supposed to be gorgeous! I'm really looking forward to it!
