Selling products online

I discovered CafePress, but after researching them, found they had many complaints against them. I want to sell fantasy products (unicorns, fairies, dragons, etc.). I'd love to find a legit place like CafePress that allows you to sell for free so to speak. They take a base price out of your price "only" when your product actually sells. I would like to use this to gather a client base before moving on to Ebay where I'll need to purchase inventory and pay listing fees or store fees. No need spending money until I have a steady demand. Thanks for any advice or tips!

Welcome to myLot secondtimeagain! I think it's neat that you're wanting to sell fantasy products. Do you actually have products on hand already? If so, you can list your products on Amazon.com. They only take a cut after your item has already sold. A good friend of mine sells a lot of his stuff this way. I hope this helps!

Hi Secondtimeagain - we have similar handles here! Have you though of going it completely alone? Why not set up your own website and a PayPal account. You can add 'pay now' buttons for each article and price your goods to include domestic or international postage. I would be pleased to advise on how it's done. For years I sold cd's for a couple of bands this way until MySpace came along and made me redundant. There are many ways you could network your opportunity through MySpace or Yuwie (Yuwie pays you to be there - useful side income!) Please get in touch if I can be of help. http://r.yuwie.com/noot54
